Do you use any third-party firewall? Are there any error messages displayed? Does the issue appear every time Bitdefender tries to update? If you click 'Update' in system tray, does the update succeed? For how long did the issue occur: since installing Bitdefender, since installing a certain program, since restoring the PC to a previous date, since experiencing some system or Bitdefender crashes, etc.? For more details (in the event an update error is displayed), you can open Notifications and check the Critical tab for update errors. The error code and what caused it usually appear on that page.
