Has anyone heard when they are going to come out with the fix to deploy Bitdefender for the new MS Outlook. They told me they were working on it, but my last ticket was never answered.

Any news on the fix? Thanks.
Still waiting on a response from them. Here is the first response:
Hello,
Thank you for your patience and please accept my apologies for the frustration that we might have caused.
I have looked into the case and it seems that the situation is caused by an issue that has already been acknowledged by our development team. We are currently working on a fix that will be done by means of an automatic update and won't require any additional action on your end.
I will get back to you with an update regarding the fix as soon as we have one.
In short: the new outlook model trashed (in the absence of a better word) everything technology-related to the Outlook add-ins, while the new architecture is on no par as capabilities with the previous one, and is still changing. (For example, the interprocess communication, which is critical to an antimalware product, is impossible on the new model as it is now, so we have to come up with a new way of making the Outlook add-in communicating with the locally installed services - and that is just for start).
As a consequence, we have to completely rewrite the addin and the entire infrastructure, especially for an antimalware product which is not a simple "show some web page and click on a button" thing. This will be done, but one cannot rewrite quickly something of this complexity, maintain the existing behavior (if that would be possible) and still be a quality product. As soon as this will evolve, we will announce it, of course.
Camarie,
Thank you for your frank and honest explanation of the issues. I now understand the issues and why the time frame with Microsoft. I really appreciate the explanation,
Thanks,
