Support Zen browser for online threat prevention

Hello,

The problem is that when I try to access a website that BD flags as dangerous (for example, the test link: https://secure.eicar.org/eicar.com ), it does not show the Web Protection page as it does in Chrome or Firefox.

As a result, the connection is intercepted by the "Network Threat Prevention" module, so adding the URL to the Exceptions list is useless. I have to turn off both "Web Attack Prevention" and "Network Threat Prevention" to access it.

When I encounter a false positive URL, I always report it to the BD support team. They usually respond quickly to remove it, which I appreciate. However, I also want an easier way to access the URL, like on Chrome or Firefox.

I believe adding Zen Browser to BD's support list will solve the problem. Since Zen is a Firefox fork, it might not require much effort to support it.

Additionally, an alternative approach may be considered. Since the Zen browser is built on Firefox’s Gecko engine, it is generally compatible with Firefox add-ons. Users can install the Bitdefender TrafficLight add-on from the official Firefox Add-ons store on the Zen browser to evaluate its functionality until native support for Zen browser is introduced by Bitdefender.

Thanks! Actually, I tried it before, but even if I choose to access in the TrafficLight add-on, the BD will intercept my request. The add-on doesn't seem to have communication with BD installed on the desktop🤔

The Bitdefender TrafficLight add-on is separate from the standalone Bitdefender product. It is web-browser-based only and blocks malicious and phishing websites within the web browser before any website loads.
