How can I turn off USB Immunizer Recommendation 2026

I will start this post by saying , it's issues like this , that tells me Artificial Intelligence will never come close to humans.

HERE is my problem , since 2022 , WE bitdefender users have complained about USB scanning EVERY GOD DAMN TIME WE PLUG IN THE SAME HARDDRIVE.

and no REAL way to turn it OFF !!!.

now instead of perfecting the ANTIVIRUS program ( the reasson we pay you money for ) , your company decides to sell VPN , PASSWORD Managers etc . etc . etc.

I pay BITWARDEN to handle my password . I pay NORDVPN for vpn for my SYNOLOGY NAS.

it's by your company NOT fixing the USB scanning crap , that I WILL NEVER TRUST YOU WITH MY PASSWORDS OR VPN .

What do you mean "no REAL way to turn it OFF", can't you turn it off in the security tab then antivirus then settings?

Hello.

Open your Bitdefender program and go to Protection -> Antivirus -> Settings -> Scan flash drives and select "Autoscan" or "Disabled", do not select "Ask every time".

but something just wiped out a 16tb new drive that was 50% full. so I pulled it out from the Terramaster enclosure and added it to my Synology box. enough of USB devices. they are too fragile. RAID 5 IS KING. so now I need to buy 3 more 16tb drives and update all 5 drives in the Synology box.
