Firewall Rules automated clean-up of non-existent / obsolete rules

Firewall Rules quality of life / usability improvement.

Addition to Firewall rules : mechanism for automated cleaning of obsolete rules.

Currently available options are : 'Add rule' and 'Reset rules'. Either 'Reset rules' may be extended with sub-option for 'Reset to defaults' and 'Clean up obsolete' or a new link for 'Clean up rules' may be added.
Adding such option would be a nice QoL/usability improvement with minimal core changes.

in Firewall Rules, especially when the default behavior is enabled, a lot of rules for temporary files and installers are being created. If user manually tries to edit such rule then Bitdefender will notify that the executable is no longer available, yet I can not find an option for cleaning such obsolete entries in bulk.

The Bitdefender firewall does have a cleaning mechanism for this scenario, for temporary rules and installations, so it will clean them but only after restarting the device.

It doesn't always do that though, sometimes after I have removed a program it still shows the rule in the firewall after restart.

It just removed the program's icon and shows a default icon, it also sometime when after having installed a new program it removes the rule after restart and I have to restart again to get the rule to stick.

+1 one from me for this idea, it would be great if there would be a button to remove obsolete rules next to the reset rules button.

For example every time my firefox updates it creates a new rule for the new version but still keeps the old rule for the old version and I have to manually remove this, having a button that would clear these junk rules would be very much appreciated.
