Advance threat Defense ( adding a folder process )

Within this section the interface remains unresponsive and fails to provide a save option when attempting to add a folder to the exemption list. The software should explicitly indicate that enclosing the directory path in quotation marks at the beginning and end is required for the folder to be successfully added.

So the two switches for antivirus and OTP cannot be enabled after adding the folder? Did you drag and drop the folder there, or did you browse for it?

i mean that a user can not add the folder until unless the inverted commas '' '' are added in the start and in the end of the required path , if commas are necessary then bitdefender should mention the related details about that over there to let user invert the commas. it happens only in '' crypto protection section:

This becomes a puzzle for an average user like me, user should not ve to search for this mystery anywhere else , bitdefender should remove the commas requirement or it must add the information here that how can we add the folder. thx.

@dvsls do you know if this is indeed a bug, or FAD? I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this way..

As described, this is an application path, not a folder. The protection exception is configured per process.
