Bitdefender 2009 Antivirus

Often you are instructed to disable antivirus programs when installing drivers and some programs. My question is, how do you diable BitDefender 2009? BD 2008 has a "disable" control, but I can't seem to find one in BD 2009 Antivirus. Does anyone know how to accomplish this.

    U can disable real-time protection:Antivirus\Shield and uncheck real-time protection and for registry control go to Privacy Contro\Registry and do the same thing.
