Unable To Update Bitdefender Free Oem V10

Hi,

In this week I started to experience a few problems with Bitdefender updating.

In one circumstance I found the program had disappeared from it's folder but appeared to be operating, except for updates. Not Good! Malwarebytes idientified some type of trojan and removed it. I re-installed and did the primary install update. No updates were reported as available afterwards. Still looking like a problem to me.

I tried bitdefender (same version) on another computer and when I attempted to update it, I was again told that their were no updates available. I checked the folder and in this case the software was still present. Looking further into the software interface itself, I found that the perimeters in the update window of the main interface were missing.

As far as I know this support for this software has not been discontinued, but perhaps I am missing some news. This appears to be some type of trojan problem, but other than the original trojan detection by Malwarebytes which found a mysterious new 'Support' folder installed in my "Program Files" folder, no other trojans have been detected.

Any suggestions?
