  • Hi, don67!

You can try to disable the real-time protection temprarly and delete those files manually.

The keys magne2t and magne3t which appear to be infected are made by various direct connect (dc) clients and you shouldn't worry about them. They will appear again.

  • Hi don67

The only thing you can do is remove the zip files and infected installers. I see also that you downloaded a keygen. The best thing is that you buy your software. Because the chance that a keygen,crack,... contains malware is very high and also it's illegal to use that kind of software.

hi sir what do you mean they will appear again? is this a virus? (magne2t and magne3t)

    TIA

  • They aren't dangerous, they are just some keys in the registry, created by DC (direct connect) clients like Strong DC++, ODC, DC++ etc. You don't have to worry about them, they won't cause any harm. ;)

    Hi! niels,

thank you for the advice more power to you....

  • Glad that I could assist you.

magnet is not so a big deal. The only problem is that these keys will always be recreated after BitDefender removes them. Just what Andrei said. It a very low threat.

    Regards

    Niels

  • If you use the software that Andrei mentioned, you can uncheck " Install URL handler" and "Install Magnet URI handler" and you will not see the registry anymore.

  • Hi! thank you very much Guy's..... more power to BitDefender!!!

  • Glad that we could help you and glad that you till like BD! ;)
