Trojan.generic.1088265

This showed up on my external hard drive. I sent logs etc. to Bit Defender support - but no reply after a week. I deleted the file containing it and now it is showing up in my "System Volume Information\Restore" Now what? Does Bit Defender support really exist?

I have managed, I think to get rid of the Trojan (so far) by following one of the How To's on the forum - Going to Windows System Restore and getting rid of the system restore point (which wipes out that file) and then allowing it again, on my external hard drive. Deep scan no longer shows the Trojan - but I still have a few "overcompressed" and "password Protected" files that it could, I suppose, have hopped into. Hope not.
