Bitdefender 2009 Problem - Gui Not Working!

Hello,


I recently installed BD Total Security 2009, which replaced McAfee Enterprise, all went wel but when i open the BD main interface i am greeted by a practically blank window :

Oh and by the way, a similar problem has occurred with TuneUp Utilities 2009.

    Please go to Start->Run. Type cmd and hit Enter.


    Type


    cd c:\windows\system32


    hit Enter


    Type


    regsvr32 jscript.dll


    hit Enter.


    Reboot the PC.

    Dear T3hGh0sT,


    If it still fails please try this:


    Download the latest .net frame work version.


    Remove .net framework by using this tool.Press on cleanup. Reboot your pc and install the latest .net framework version.


    Try to remove previous versions of visual c++ by using Windows Install Cleanup


    Select Microsoft Visual c++ version and press on remove confirm the message. Reboot your pc. Install the latest version.
