Can't Update Bd Total Security 2009

hi im new in this forum. I would like your help cause i can't update my BD Total Security 2009.


The Problem is that i get an error


"An Error Ocurred During The Update(Invalid Server or Proxy Settings)


The version i got is:


BitDefender Total Security 2009


Version:12.0.11.5


(Trial)


can someone help me :mellow:


cause i can't get updates :mellow:

    Please post a screenshot of the Settings tab (from the Update section).


    Also, do you use any proxy servers to connect to the internet?

    well to be honest i really don't know if i'm using a proxy server

    Also, what browser do you use? I need this information so I can tell you how to check for your proxy settings.

    i have the same problem...


    Error message i get is Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage...i use both internet explorer and firefox cannot open on both of them...

    update 'once' manually from the following site.


    http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Main/view/...ts-Updates.html


    You should then be able to update from your BD automatically.

    Have you checked your proxy settings?


    Try changing the update server, from the BitDefender update settings, to one of the alternative addresses:


    http://upgrade.bitdefender.com


    http://upgrade1.bitdefender.com


    http://upgrade2.bitdefender.com


    http://upgrade3.bitdefender.com


    Don't forget to press Apply after you change something in the update settings.


    Post back the results.
