I have been using Bit Defender Internet Security 2008 and have not encountered any problem up to a worrying message I noticed today: "Bit Defender real time protection is not available". The associated activation radio button is displayed greyish.


How can I restore this protection ?


Any sound advice will be most welcome._

    BD has some problems lately with real-time scanning. Hope they would repair this soon!


    Repair option does not appear on the uninstall window.

    I think you may need to repair your BD installation.


    Either from ADD/Remove (in the uninstall dialog choose repair) ,either manually uninstalling ,running the BD Uninstall Tool and reinstalling the product.


    When you do all this procedures make sure the network cable is unplugged.
