Windows Mail Rules Disappearing Act
Is there any fix yet for Windows Mail Rules? Every time I close Windows Mail and start it again, all my mail rules disappear ..... 25 in total.
This issue has been posted many times and no one from Bitdefender has replied to any posts yet with a fix. Disabling the Antispam function is NOT a Fix, only a band aid for the problem.
This has been reported well over a year ago. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...amp;#entry24394
What's up Bitdefender???? Why no response????
Any one reading this post want to lay odds I too won't get a reply.

Hello,
Same problem, now I use the "junk e-mail" option available in Windows Mail. And it works!0 -
Junk-Mail option only puts e-mail into the Inbox folder or Junk-Mail folder. Message rules allow you to direct to any folder.
Doesn't do a thing for my 25 filters. I have 20+ clients, each mail address has it's own folder.
Sorry but I still feel Bitdefender does not have the qualified staff or resources to fix the code. This problem has been outstanding for way too long.

This issue was fixed internally with the built 12.0.12, if it occurs again we will need to investigate it. Please tell me what built do you have for BitDefender on the system and also what version do you have for "bdoe.dll" in C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2009.

Hello zircon99,
We have reported that this issue was fixed internally with built 12.0.12 of BitDefender 2009, but no changes have been made for version 2008. At the moment you can use your current license key for BitDefender 2008 to upgrade free of charge to version 2009. Details on how to perform the upgrade are available here:

Hi Diana,
The problem is still there even with built 12.0.12 running on my Vista 32 System with bdoe.dll version: 12.0.12.18
I noticed that when I closed Windows Mail after this update and started it again, my rules were still there. But the next start, it all disappeared.
