Help For Settings

Hi,everybody!


I am new user of BDIS 2009 and I have looked for hints for settings and I folloved it,but still I have some problems.


Today few hours I couldn't login to my mail-after typing name and pass they dissappesred and again,and again...


Second-when I found this forum and tried to register,more then 5 times after cheking "I agree" with the rules-the same as mail-disappear.


Thanks God finaly I did it(I don't know how) and I am expecting that somebody help me to set correct BD.


I don't want to bother you with my actual settings,if somebody responce-I will.

P.S.When I look in the settings,more then half of BD shields are disabled,I don't think it's correct...Help!


P.S.2.I tried to post in another forum and when I tried to submit it-nothing happened and still I have the same problem...


P.S.3.Well,at last I did it-submited post in other forum,but again I don't know why and how...

    welcome to the forum.


    What you could do now is just remove all traces of your previous internet security suites as they could conflict with BDIS. Then reinstall BDIS.

    Hemanth,I used Avira premium but it just expired and I removed everything(I think),used Reg Cleaner,Searched for Avira and Antivir at the end in C and D-didn't find anything,so I have a presumption that everything is removed.


    Diana Bele,I am with Windows XP SP2,I have a Win Patrol Plus just to keep an eye of some changes,Registry Clean Expert to clean regs once a few days and Advanced System Protector(not running,just checking once a week).That's it.


    It's all I have as kind of security.


    Problems(some of them I mentioned before)are slowing down all system,opening the sites(Mozilla 3.0.10),but the most important think is that I disabled so many protections,that it sounds stupid to have many opportunities and not to use even half of them.


    With this I hope you gonna help me.


    Now,about the settings:(I'll write just disabled settings)


    scan inside archives


    scan network shares


    scan outgoing mail


    scan HTTP traffic


    scan Yahoo messenger traffic


    scan Win Messenger traffic


    antifishing for Yahoo messenger


    parential control


    identity control


    registry control


    cookie control


    scrypt control


    firewall(I am using Windows firewall,I don't know if BD firewall is OK with uTorrent I am using)


    IM encryption


    Game mode


    I think that's it-it's almost everything!


    Help me,tell me which is nessesery to enable,which could affect to my speed.


    Oh,My,what a long post I did,sorry,but I had to explain everything.


    So,please,help me!

    a lot registry clean software are incompatible with BitDefender and yours as well. I am sure! You may want to contact them on their forum, and explain that it is incompatible with BitDefender. They would make changes to their software.


    Reinstall BitDefender by using the following uninstaller first.

    Don't use your registry cleaner for a while. This should solve a lot of your problems.

  • I am just wondering where I can check about my case-I know already that my ticket ID is 200905121007109,but I don't know where to look,I tried ,but I didn't find anything like Cases or Tickets...
