Bitdefender Keeps Going Offline

I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get an answer from Bitdefender on why the program keeps going offline. It runs the scan, no problems found and then it goes offline. It says Bitdefender services are not responding. Should I unistall and reinstall or look for a new virus protection program? Service is lacking.

  • I've encountered the same too,must have been something wrong with the registry?My bit defender just deactivated by it's own for some reason after it's being automatically updated.Kindly shade some light into this matter please?Being extremely tired over uninstalling and installing.

    It is sad to see all the negative comments on your program but does not appear that anyone wants to help. It happens to me every day that bitdefender runs on my computer. It updates itself, runs at the appointed time and when it finishes, I am off line again. I must restart my computer to get the program to respond. I see vsserv.exe in task manager but I do not know how to tell how many threads are running. When I had 2008 I did not have this issue. Please advise on how to fix this issue? Is there a patch or what do we do to fix it. I have already sent the files to you that you asked for and no one has taken the time to respond to my case file. Now I have a second case file with you for the same issue:

    What answer did you finally get? I am not giving Bitdefender access to my computer so they can snoop around. Still having the same issue. It runs and kicks itself off line. Customer service is extremely poor. Only time I get an answer or any help is thru the forum responses. Pretty bad when you are a paying customer and they don't have the time of day for you. If I don't get help before long, off bitdfender comes and I will search for someone how actually has technical support and understands what customer service means. Try keeping your customers happy is very important to me but not these guys. Outsourced to India, so it is just a paycheck to them regardless of the quality of their customer service. Are you listening Bitdefender or don't you care?
