Bitdefender UPDATE ERROR
All our users and clients are getting the 'invalid MD5 error'. It has been happening since the 5th of June 2007. Is there any solution to this error.
Also few other PCs are experienceing update problems and the error message that pops up is different from the first. The snapshot of this message has been attached with this post.
In short the update has not been working since the 5th of June for all our clients including us.
What could be the problem

Try updating after you downloaded these virussignatures.
Verify also if the location of the server is correct where the updates are stored in your company.

I had been doing the manual updates since the 6th of June. But do you have a solution for the persisting problem. Are you guys facing the same error too or is it only out here in the United Arab Emirates0 -

I have experienced this problem a couple of times. Each time, a system restart solutioned it. I suggest you try to make a repair of BD and see if it works.

I did a repair of the product. Now it seems to be searching for the update but finally another error pops up as shown in the attachment.0 -
As a last try you could try a clean reinstall of your product. It is the solution I can think about.

You could try to change the update server in BitDefender Update Settings.
Try one of the following:
http://upgrade.bitdefender.com (default)
http://upgrade1.bitdefender.com
http://upgrade2.bitdefender.com
http://upgrade3.bitdefender.com
http://upgrade4.bitdefender.com
Change the default server with one of the above, click Apply and try again to make the update. If this doesn't work, try Andrei's suggestion.

That is not an error. That message is similar to: "you are up to date"
