I would like to add, that I run a nightly scan with Bitdefender Gamesafe.
Every night it deletes a similar cookie, also from atdmt.
I would also like a permanent solution to this.0 -
Hi
Same here this cookie is deleted on the first scan of a session on my PC. It is not detected on subsequent scans even when I visit the same websites.

Hello all ,
For start please go to the next link:http://www.atdmt.com/CookieActions.aspx and if the cookie is active please click on [opt-out of the Atlas cookie] . In this way you will disable it .
The detection is ok and the cookie is not doing anything malware in itself . You should try to block the cookies that comes from this website from your browser . Here is what you have to do :
1. If you are using Mozilla Firefox :
Click on Tools ->Options-> Privacy and under Cookies click on Exceptions . Here block the following addresses then click on Close :
www.atlassolutions.com
view.atdmt.com
rmd.atdmt.com
ec.atdmt.com
2. If you are using Internet Explorer :
Click on Tools->Internet Options->Privacy then click on Sites . Here block the same addresses then click on Ok:

view.atdmt.com

Sorry spoke too soon the cookie is back, when I used the link provided the site said that the Atlas Cookie was not active. I blocked the sites in ie as you suggested, any further ideas. The cookie seems to come back after the PC is rebooted despite BD deleting it during a scan.
Thanks for looking into this

Anyone still looking into this? I did what Alex said and I'm still getting this cookie.

Hey guys. Apparently i'm having the same problem.. So everytime before i sign into my mail or anything i gotta scan and delete it. Anyone got a clue to permantly delete this cookie? I'm using Xp btw. And i doubt its the website we go to. It should be one of our programs that has it.

Cookie cutter doesnt work by blocking this cookies as such. What it does is converts these tracking cookies to harmless "Session" cookies that your web browser will delete at the end of the session, thereby limiting the effectiveness of tracking cookies.
Sites you trust in Websites are still allowed to store cookies depending on your configuration within the browser.0 -
Hi Clir. I'm so sorry but you needa simplify things for me a little.. I'm not too sure what you're trying to say.. This cookie is harmless or? So sorry about it. Any way to remove it permenantly?

Wayne, here's what Alex said in a post above:
The detection is ok and the cookie is not doing anything malware in itself .
So there's nothing to worry about with this cookie. It's just annoying.0 -
