Windows Explorer And Bitdefender Disabled Problem
When I got online this morning, I found that the toolbars (meaning most of the icons running horizontally across the top of my screen when using windows explorer) are blacked out - as if they had been redacted - so most of the area is not visible. I went to run my 2009 version of bitdefender and it says I have never scanned my computer for malware and suggests I 'fix' the problem.Clicking on 'FIX' does nothing. Likewise, although 'update now' and 'my documents scan' worked NEITHER THE FULL SYSTEM SCAN, DEEP SYSTEM SCAN OR VULNERABILITY SCAN WILL FUNCTION. THEY DO NOT REACT AT ALL.
THESE ARE BOTH DISCONCERTING ISSUES. ARE YOU AWARE OF A VIRUS, WORM ETC. THAT IS DOING THIS? WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX BOTH PROBLEMS???

HERE IS WHAT I POSTED ABOUT 12 HOURS AGO. IT SHOWS UP NO WHERE EXCEPT WHEN I LOOK UNDER MY OWN PROFILE. THAT'S HELPFUL! IS THIS A FORUM WHERE THE ACTUAL COMPANY I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FROM RESPONDS TO PARTICIPANTS? OR WHAT? NOW I AM ACTUALLY THINKING THAT THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING WAS CAUSED BY THE BITDEFENDER FOLKS IN AN EFFORT TO GET ME (US?) TO PAY AGAIN TO UPGRADE TO THE 2010 VERSION. BUT WHY SHOULD I?
ESPECIALLY IF THE SUPPORT FOR THAT PRODUCT EQUALS THAT FOR 2009. YES - I AM ANGRY. IF YOU CAN OFFER ANY HELP TO TH FOLLOWING PROBLEM - OR COMMENT ON WHETHER THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO GET HELP OR NOT - PLEASE REPLY! THANKS (I'm not normally this frustrated - please excuse).

I have seen internet explorer 8 cause that problem with toolbars.... if that's the browser that you're using. If that's the case, revert to ie 7 and see if it clears it up.0
