    Just disable the antivirus and move the file manualy to "Quarantine" thru bitdefender software and after done ENABLE antivirus again.

  • Hello WushuMaster,

    We will need 3 reports from you :

    1. A Deep System Scan log that can be obtained following the steps bellow :

    - Before running the scan please make sure that you have the latest virus definitions downloaded via the Update module: open BitDefender, click the "Switch to Basic View" button (if it is not already in Basic View) and choose the "Update Now" task on the right;

    - After the update process completes successfully you can proceed to running the scan task: select the "Deep Scan" task;

    - When the scan ends, click the "Show Log File" button at the bottom right of the scan window; A browser window will open displaying the scan report; Save this file on a location of your choice and then send it to us attached to your email.

    2. An Avis and a Gmer log obtained performing the steps from the next BitDefender article:http://kb.bitdefender.com/KB490 .

    You can upload these reports here:http://www.sendspace.com/ and then post the download links in your next reply .

    Thank you .

  • sorry for the slow reply, but my browser wasn't working when i tried to view my log, and the Avis and Gmer files just closed on me when they were running. I could re-open gmer and Avis by stop it from file sharing, but somehow it kept on file sharing again when i ran it

  • my computer finally started working and here is the files http://www.sendspace.com/file/4xkbq8

  • Hi, I also have a similar virus that I cannot remove. There is only a slight variation in the name: Gen:Trojan.Heur.Hype.cu4@am2nGep. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • My computer was recently infected w/ the gen:trojan.heur.hype virus. It has disabled my spy sweeper when i tried to delete it and will not allow me to access program on my computer that would remove it. I have run the bitdefender deep scan and the trojan comes up w/ 16 other infected files that all appear identical. I attempted to restore my computer to it's original state (when i purchased it) but it will not allow the disc to run. I should not that i do not have an internal drive on my laptop and i am using an external drive to run the computers restore disc. Can anyone help me to get rid of this virus? I am more than happy to start from scratch with my laptop.

    Hello irlyh8virus', susie and WushuMaster,

    WushuMaster: We have sent you some steps that will help you retrieve us a file that we need to look on. Please reply to our email after you perform those instructions.

    irlyh8virus' and susie: Please follow the instructions from my first post and reply here with the download links.

    Thank you .

  • Alex,

    The virus will not let me access bitdefender and shuts down anything i attempt to do. What next?

  • I am having similar trouble as susie. I am able to perform a deep system scan, however AVIS and GMER are not able to complete.

    When attempting to open AVIS I get a runtime error R6034 that says "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I hit OK and the program still opens, but after I hit create log it starts to do its thing and then just disappears. GMER seemed to be working okay, but towards the end of the scanning process it also disappeared.

  • Hello irlyh8virus' and susie,

    Please try to run a scan using the BitDefender rescue CD. You will have all the instructions in the next post:http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...st=0#entry62054 .

    Thank you .
