Outlook 2003 Unable To Open
After downloading and running bitdefender, Outlook 2003 will not open. I am running Windows XP

For start, please tell us what product/version of BitDefender you are using. Also let us know if you receive any error messages when you try to open Outlook and just in testing purpose please try performing the steps bellow :
1. Open BitDefender, click on the Settings button and choose the Expert Mode.
2. Click on the Antivirus module then click on the Advanced Settings button under the Shield tab. Disable Active Virus Control and then click on Ok.
3. Let us know if you can open Outlook 2003 after that .

I am using BitDefender 2010.
After disabling active virus scan, Outlook still would not open. Outlook states it did not start correctly last time and wants to start in safe mode. After attempting to start in safe mode an error message stating "Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close." comes up.0 -

For start please take a screen-shot of the error message that you receive when you try to open Outlook 2003, upload it on http://www.sendspace.com/ then post here the download link .
You should also try to install an update called "Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Service Pack 1" from the next link and look if the same issue occurs after that.

Thank you for your help. I downloaded and installed the "Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Service Pack 1" and Outlook is off and running again.
