Cant Fix Issues
All of a sudden my copy of Bitdefender 2010 has started to malfunction. It says I currently have 3 issues, but when I click to fiox them the process never completes. The issues are - Updates are disabled, Updates have not been performed, last syatem scan was aborted before it was finished.
Your help would be appreciated.

That happens to me, probably once every two days or so. I restart my PC and it appears BD is back to normal. There is no fix that I am aware of, outside of expecting the user to restart their PC 10 times more than they usually do.0 -

If you check out just the first page of this forum, there are 3 or 4 different threads discussing the problems with updating. I have to restart my PC 3 or 4 times a day.0 -

I've this very same problem SEVERAL times with the 2008 version.... The only way to fix this was uninstall then reinstall it... And I had to do this several times in the last year....

yep it did have it's faults but you did /could control it,but on the whole it ran better than this current version does, i seriously thinking about going back to it, this version is a joke,0 -
The reason I bought BD was because it came highly recommended. Now I find out that it does not work ?? Who would I contact for a refund other than my local trading standards department. Think I will go back to something like AVG.

I believe the only upgrade for the 2008 version, is going to 2010... I haven't seen any new 2008 available... When my renewal noticed came up last week, it was from 2008 to 2010, that was it...0 -

what i meant was that the 2008 version is still usable,/supported via updates not that it had been upgraded,
but even with all it's faults it had,for me personally it ran 80 % than this version does on xp sp2,0 -

I hear ya... I will be installing Windows 7 very soon and only choice now is 2010 which equals no choice here but to seek elsewhere's unfortunately...0 -

If the update module is unavailable, we recommend you to follow the instructions from the next post . If after you follow these steps you have the same issue, please check the email that we have sent you and reply back with the reports that we need for analysis.
