[solved] Malwarebytes Detected Sality In Bd?

Running WinXP. Upgraded to BD AV 2010 last week (fresh install)

Today I ran Malwaresbytes which found:

""Virus.Sality in C:\Program Files\BidDefender\BitDefender2010\imgcln.exe""

Searched the forum for something on this and found a similar post in the French section, but I don't read French and there was no answer to the post yet.

Should I allow Malwarebytes to remove it? Do I ignore it?

Linda did you ever get a answer to this yet. I allso use Malwaresbytes, and it found the same

  • Same here, malwarebytes detected it as a virus.sality, guess this is a false positive since one of the web admin at malwarebytes confirmed it's a false positive and will be fixed in next update/patch.

    Just sharing, Cheers.
