Suggestion For Game Mode

When BitDefender downloads a major update (one that requires a system reboot), the user is still notified every 20 minutes that it needs to be rebooted, even in Game Mode. This means that when playing a game, the user must first minimize and select what to do before he can continue playing. So my suggestion is to implement a "postpone" button, which will postpone when the notification is to be shown again. When in game mode, the notification would never display, and only when game mode is turned off.


Just thought this might be useful seeing how we lost a competitive multiplayer clan game because of this :S

    Hello FriendlyFire,


    Regarding your request, please make sure to follow the steps below:


    Open BitDefender - > go to Settings and switch to Expert Mode.


    Now on the left go to the Update Module and then to the Settings tab.


    In this location please make sure to check 'Silent Update' in both Automatic Update Settings and Manual Settings.


    Also in the Advanced Settings please check 'Wait for reboot, instead of prompting', 'Don't Update is scan is in progress' and 'Don't update if Game Mode is on'. Then Click on Apply.
