Bd Won't Update
I have bd total security 2010 on my laptop. It will not update. When I click on the update tab, it "looks" for updates but finds none. No error message appears, the comp just searches endlessly until I cancel the screen. I have gone to expert mode and clicked on enable automatic updates, but it will not take. i can apply and save the changes but it will not update and the update box is no longer checked.

Do you use a proxy? an anonymizer soft to go to internet?
When I forget to activate mine, I won't be able to update!
I suppose you do not have another FW AV on your laptop?
(sorry, but the first cause of trouble is on "brand" pc and brand computers usually have fw av pre installed)
I suppose too you deactivate windows FW? (it should be)
If someone could help you further, maybe give information on your system: XP? Vista? Seven?

no other FW or AV on my laptop. I checked that problem first. BD2010 is an update, I've had it on my laptop since 2007.
no windows FW activated.
