Pc Not Scanned After 6 Plus Days Warning

Options

After 6 plus days BD gives a warning that the PC has not been scanned and to fix the problem.


Can this be changed so you can have an option to give a warning after x amount of days, weeks, months or to ignore?


My parents don't use their PC very often and are continually bugged by this alert.


Another recommendation would to have a pop-up to give such warnings and other problems that need fixing, this is ideal for people who install BD and forget about it, plus the warning triangle in the systems tray is not always acknowledged.

    I am very sorry for the late response to your enquiry. Unfortunately, the number of days from this warning cannot be changed. It will appear after 6 days. Unfortunately this message cannot be disabled. You can disable all the notifications for the Antivirus module from BitDefender -> Expert mode -> General module -> Dashboard tab -> click on Configure status alerts. However we would not recommend you to do this.


    Also, the exclamation sign from the BitDefender icon represents that there are issues to fix. The popup messages are used in order to provide notifications.

    The "Configure status alerts" does not work. When I deselect the options they come back after an update or reboot. How do I fix that? This is a question I would like an answer to.
