You can't fix stupid. And today's mess at Bitdefender is a CLASSIC MESS. How could they let something like this go? It's like selling contaminated food, and the clerk is too stupid to recognize the bad food.

Bitdefender, you have imploded on yourself. You have zero quality, and zero customer support.

You don't derserve to be in business anymore.

I'm going back to NORTON as fast as I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone wants a fix call Norton, 877.788.4877, and for $99 they'll fix the problem remotely, NOW!

Bye bye Bitdefender. You are stupid.

Comments

  • I concur.

  • Cant fix stupid is right, and your stupid.

I have used every viral program out there in the last 15 years or so, and Norton used to be a solid product, solid being what the sales rep would tell you, now after many reviews, Norton are on the bottom of many top 20 lists with mcafee.

Funny how Stupid made BD the best on the market, yet an obviouse breakdown in the testing department on the 64bit version has now rendered your BD the worst, go get your norton fix, least BD stops the virus before it gets on your PC, norton does the opposite, lets your pc get infected then tells you in a flash note that your PC is infected and norton cannot fix it.

Maybe you should d/l the free ones instead, ohh they are better than any Viral program out there! lol.

Seriously though, you have the best viral program on the internet, a silly mistake they made yes, they will review future methods obviously, making this kind of thing something of the past, but its still no reason to dump the best product for the worst product, now that is stupid.

Its a simple fix, but some people simple is advanced, as everyones PC knowledge is different, what may be simple for me could be advanced for you.

    GL in fixing yours though

Hey FanBoy, if your Toyota accelerator gets stuck and smashes your car into a wall, once its repaired are you going to get back in it and drive it on the freeway? If you do, I agree, you are stupid and have no sense.

Lol, well it all depends if I was killed when it hit the wall....

As funny it sounds...I am JoeThePlumbing contractor...my hourly paid plumber left a leaky installation on a new faucet that paid me $250, but cost me $10000 settlement plus loss of time, repute, and other intangible losses. The court order was either I do it myself immediately or let the customer decide who they will hire and get the job done and I pay for it. Have I stopped taking new orders...no I made good for the damages and moved on. Offered the customer a 25% discount on the next order. Do you think either my plumber or I did this on purpose?

I would expect the same from the CEO of BD to settle the matter and make good for all the damages that BD customers can legally submit as claims (frustration apart) for hours spent to fix this (self or by a professional) at an industry standard rate, necessary tools need to fix and other incidental damages.

    +1

  • @ ALL - We are brainstorming here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=18786 about a possible compensation method for all of you that were impacted by this false alarm. And here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...ost&p=80300 you have the statement.

Let's try to stick to one topic only in order to be able to come to a conclusion together.

    Thank you.
