Bitdefender Upgrade?

hi,


im thinking of buying a BD licence,


im interested in 'Bitdefender PLUS', but before i do get one..... what will it be upgraded to?


i hope its not the total security 2008, as i dont like this.


could someone please just tell me.

    As far as I know, you will be able to upgrade BD 10 Plus to BD 11 Internet Security. BD 10 Internet Security will be upgraded to BD 11 TOtal Security. :)

    ok and what does BD 11 internet security look like?


    is it the same-look as total?

    I really don't know how it will look. But I don't think there will be GUI differences. Maybe it won't have modules like Tune-up or Game mode. I frankly don't know. :)

    It will be realesed this autmun, maybe next month. An exact date is not yet known, due to the bugs revealed in BETA's. However, by late september I think it will be released. ;)

    1. why does this speedtest not work anymore, yet it did without BD installed


    2. why does the spam-banner in outlook express (vista) only show up after ive recieved my email, its delayed and seems slow to show up on the taskbar.

    You can upgrade from AVplus10 to IS11 and from IS10 to IS11. You cannot upgrade to Total Security 11 from IS10 as this is a whole new product.


    The tune-up functionality will be available in Total Security only. The game mode will be available in all versions.

    1. I can't test it because only people who are using a UK isp can make an account. Other speedtests aren't blocked. Open BitDefender go to anti-virus,custom level,and see if http traffic scan isn't checked. After that go to antispyware the slider should be set on default.What browser are you using? Try also to clear you temporary internet files.


    2.It could be that something went wrong during installation. So I suggest that you try this press the win+r button type this command : regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Softwin\BitDefender10\bdo.dll" press enter. If that fails close BitDefender by rightclicking on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock choose exit. After that double click on the BitDefender installer or put in your installation disc choose for modify/repair.

    Where do you have this info, exactly? Please post a link to that site, eventually. As for my discussions with BD officials, the upgrade (should be) as I posted earlier. However, I might be wrong, since the decissions may have changed meanwhile.
