Bis 2010 Wants For Service Restart Repeatedly

I am currently on a trial of BIS and decided to buy it as it has improved a lot from the 2009 release. But yesterday it gave me a bug reporting windows few many times wanting for a restart of the service... I filled up the form 3 times, but don't know the reason of that incident. It just came on a sudden. I am using Vista Ultimate 32 bit, with 2.5Gb RAM, Intel Dual Core @1,88GHz processor.

Any help will be appreciated...

I am not having that not responding problem. It just brings me the bug reporting window and tell that it wants a restart of the service. I will collect the screenshot next time....

  • Just happened again. Here is the screenshot.

Well, I usually stop my internet line, clean every *temp files and others with Ccleaner and reboot.

I noticed the screenshot appears when java and flash technology are included with other softwares.

    Firefox is somewhat unstable too...

Some programs such as gigatribe or wuala do not fit well with BD too and brought me your screenshot.

However, I have less trouble of that stuff with BDIS2010 on a freshly reformatted PC rather than my older one, but it is not a satisfactory answer indeed...

And I get the grey ball since I installed Windows live messenger quite often.

With my WinXP Home (and Pro) I had trouble and the grey ball with BD IS2008 as well. I do not know the 2009 version, I can't tell. All versions have bugs.

Maybe you could operate a repair of BD (start execute BD repair...). If it could help?

Besides, I love Ccleaner, however the registry operations are not safe.

BD and Ccleaner do not fit well and to clean the registry base of BD could be dangerous.

You could use Ccleaner to scratch old BD dll (if you have any) of the former versions and only them.

I hope tomorrow a BD technician will help you further

    Have a nice day,

  • @Leonet: Thanks for your kind answer. I have cleaned my temp files, rebooted but with no improvement. I experienced that problem twice after that.

And I have installed the trial in a cleanly formatted PC.

Well I have not done that repair function yet. Waiting for any experts.

I have 27 days of trial left. I wanted to buy it. But this problem persists and I won't get help I may look else where.
