Bitdefender Toolbars Keep Disappearing From Outlook.

Since installing 2010 the usual BitDefender toolbar is behaving erratically in Outlook, i.e. sometimes it is visible, sometimes not. This is very annoying when I receive spam mail that I am unable to tell BitDefender about in the usual way, i.e. Add Spammer. I never know from one day to the next if it will be there! Any ideas please? I am using Outlook 2003, sp3 on XP.

Hi I have the same problems but the procedure does not work for Outlook 2007 so I have followed the second procedure and posted the file on Sendspace with the download reference http://www.sendspace.com/file/5iijr5 as requested. PS The reply function enclosing the file to you does not work "You are not permiitted to upload this type of file.

    Please advise new procedure.

    Hi Michael 202,

There are other issues on the subject but how precise?

    Outlook and BD Antispam

Do you have several other toolbars? (yahoo, and so on...) You should suppress them, the less we have, the better...

Provided that the previous message comes from december 2009, maybe you could have created a new one to get a quicker answer from BD helpline, even if the subject is similar?

    Good search!

    :)

  • Hi Michael_202,

I have noticed that you are still using BitDefender Internet Security 2010. Please read the article below and upgrade for FREE to our latest version, BitDefender 2011.

Last but not least I also noticed that you have installed 'Registry Mechanic' so I would kindly ask you to pay extra attention when running it so you will not remove any BitDefender files or registry entries while BitDefender is installed however I strongly recommend you to run a registry cleaning AFTER you removed the 2010 version.

    Regards,
