  • More Info Found: THIS ONLY HAPPENS TO GOOGLE CHROME BROWSERS SO FIX THAT!!!

  • Hello,

    First of all I would kindly ask you to use a proper language. I do NOT tolerate this behavior on our Forums.

    I am trying my best to assist you however I do need more information from you, as follows:

    - what BitDefender product are you using ?

    - I created a ticket and sent you instructions via email on how to generate the set of logs we need to further investigate;

    - also enclose the following:

    1. The network card you use on the PC having the issue;

    2. Not sure I understand the connection between the high ping and Google Chrome. You also mention browserS ... are there more than one browser from Google ?

    3. Do you have the Home Network module enabled ?

    4. A screenshot with the Firewall -> Network module in Expert View within BitDefender Security Center.

    One last question please: how do you test the ping ? Does the issue still occur if you disable Firewall and Antivirus module ?

    Your ticket ID is: 201011151008543.

    Looking forward to your answer!

    Kind regards,

  • 1) Bitdefender Internet Security 2011;

    2) One One Computer I Tried 2 Browsers Google Chrome And Firefox... Firefox Gave Me Awesome Pings And Chrome Gave Me Disgusting Pings

    With Internet Security Uninstalled I Get Awesome Pings In Chrome

    When I Disable All Virus Protection And FireWall Stuff IT DOES NOT Fix The Problem... Meaning The Whole Program Itself Is Causing This Problem...

    I Test Pings With SpeedTest.Net's Ping Test

  • Hello,

    Are you referring to bandwidth tests as Ping ? You have me confused. To make things clear:

    - if you test your Internet connection on Firefox you have no issues - what are the actual values ?

    - if you test your Internet connection using Chrome you get low results - what are these values ?

    What city you used to conduct a test on ?

    Note that you have a link you can copy. Click on the button 'Copy forum link' after conducting a test. Post both results here and specify which one is made with Chrome browser. I wanna see the difference.

    Looking forward to your answer!

  • Hate to drag up an old thread, but I'm having the same issue. Ping on speedtest.net is 520 when using Chrome. Tested with IE9 and it's in the low 20's.

    Has this been resolved?

  • I have moved the topic with your new post to the "Slowdown" sub-forum where it is likely to receive faster attention.
