2FA by email OR SMS text, which is safer if authenticator app is not an option?
Some of the financial institutions where I have accounts don't allow any other 2FA method than email or SMS text. But I could delete one. I get spam calls on the phone, so I know my phone number is public. On the email account I use for banking, so far no spam emails, although that could happen in the future.

Scam alert info incomplete
I have 3 hits from Scam Alert. It lists the link but nothing more. I use Textra as any SMS app. I would like to go in and delete the offending chats/links however the alert does not list anything useful to get me to the offending text message.
