Rather than try to fix this and waste anymore time on it I'd like to get a refund. What is the process for doing so? I've already deleted it off my system and installed something else that's working correctly.

Please read this: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=12389 I'm afraid that's not it, I scanned my system with the tool and the results are clean. Checked it twice..... rebooted, ran it again, still coming up as "clean". BitDefender still won't update, this is getting to be a slight pain in the bum.
