If you are still waiting, I did receive my refund today. I'm now satisfied with BitDefender's response. If BitDefender can get itself in order and maintain itself over the next year, I'll reevaluate their product at that time.

It's going on 4 days since I've uninstalled the malware and switched to a different product (yes, there are viable alternatives that don't include Norton or McAffee). I submitted two civil requests for a refund with no information back from BitDefender.

We are and will continue to reply on the emails. There are several options that we are assessing upon right now based upon the feedback we have received from you. You can continue to send the emails as initially mentioned, although it may take longer to process. Thanks. I just want my money back. I'll gladly agree to not…

For the non-Tools out there, we are all in agreement that receiving a refund for the defective product is completely reasonable. Ignore the tools and fanboys who are happy to take it for 'the team.' I didn't pay for this 'service.' Simply refund our money and we'll happily go away, but I'm not putting that POS back on my…

My dear fellow Bitdefender users, Could we be a little matur.e about this? Some people have suffered more than others and there should be a good compensation. Bitdefender will (I guess) make everyone (most of us) happy (I hope). I lost 14 hours myself of figuring out, checking 15 PC's and repair. Situation before…

It's Friday night and I'm going to have some fun. I know this is a real stretch for some of your uber-nerd fanboys on here who are cozyin' up to BitDefender like they paid their college tuition or sumtin'. Anyway, I get me a pack of JimmieCoats from the pharmacy and proceed to go an perform said fun activity. Now, the…

Makes me think back about the Juggernauts in COD. Those bs. just won't go down with RPG's. Hope something good will come out of all this. Free 50% refund? or that limited t-shirt Anyways time to go to sleep.. It is 4.33 am right now.. Running a new OS. I can use it tomorrow for work. Not that Fanboys have any reasoning…

I uninstalled BD and switched to other security solution. I asked for a refund from BD and they responded as if I hadn't even mentioned it. I would say it's insane, but it's just typical corporate BS. I've reiterated that I want a refund because I'm not putting their malware on my machine ever again. I didn't ask for any…

Cant fix stupid is right, and your stupid. I have used every viral program out there in the last 15 years or so, and Norton used to be a solid product, solid being what the sales rep would tell you, now after many reviews, Norton are on the bottom of many top 20 lists with mcafee. Funny how Stupid made BD the best on the…

I'm guessing you are working for BitDefender on here doing damage control. How much are they paying you? Sit down and shut up you p1ll0ck. Welcome to the club, we're all waiting for a final fix. Unlike you I've been sat here watching this thread since page 8 seeing person after person post the same questions while I wait…

Nah, suing doesn't fix the problem. Sir, if you do not know what you are talking about, please gtfo and stop wasting out time. How much is BitDefender paying you to take up for them?

i hate people like you.....just shut up. We have all been affected badly, deal with it. I've lost lots, but it's one of those things that happens. Oh man....get a grip I'm guessing you are working for BitDefender on here doing damage control. How much are they paying you?

Easy on BitDefender? Why? Their negligence has caused havoc around the world. I'm still assessing the damage caused by their negligence. Steps to fix the problem: 1. Uninstall Bitdefender 2. Demand a refund 3. If no refund is given start looking for the lawyer(s) who will be doing the class-action lawsuit against…
