Has there been anu progress on this problem? I am running Windows 7 32 bit and Bit Defender Services are persistantly unavailable. Re-installs and reboots do not change matters. I cannot get a dump file from vsserv as it is not in the Processes in Task Manager although running in Services. Curiouly the antivirus scan seems…

Hi, I have BDTS 2010 build 13.0.17.343 0n Windows 7 and although I have repeaetedly reinstalled BD using the uninstall tool, BDTS refuses to load and says Services are Unavailable. Here is a link to the BD Trace Log: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ho88tr Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much. Your instructions have enabled me to re-install BD TS2010. I wish I had thought to attempt an uninstall in the safe mode. Now I have to hope that whatever was causing BD to exit with a Critical Error has been killed with the fresh install. Thanks once again.
