Just to clarify, Scan Only New and Modified Files does make a significant difference. The problem kept coming back but then realized it was because Bitdefender updates would reset (disable) that setting. After watching closely, I concluded this setting makes a big improvement but the problem still happens randomly even…

Thanks for the reply. I'm also struggling with disabling functionality at the risk of losing protection. Another person responded (post since removed) saying to add an exception. I tried that and it didn't help. I have another ticket open about exceptions not working which has been confirmed but not yet fixed. If anyone…

I can confirm version 3.2.4 does fit it on Chrome. I'm a Firefox user so hoping to see that fixed soon.

I'll switch to KVRT. Thanks. I wouldn't say Bitdefender is perfect, so I like having the secondary scan. Used to run Malwarebytes until Bitdefender starting blocking it. Now they're blocking Kaspersky. Seems like Bitdefender is forcing themselves to be your exclusive security solution.

Confirm the Kaspersky link redirects to other recovery tools. Did Kaspersky stop supporting tdsskiller? Don't see it on the reidrected page.

Answers: I'm in the USA For autoscrolling, I have continuous scroll enabled in my search settings. Not sure if that's what you mean. I disabled it and it made no difference. The issue occurs with all results. Every page, every result on the page. Some additional info: It's broken on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)…

Is there any update on this issue? It's a basic feature and has been broken for 2 months. Is there a target date for a fix? Thanks.

I have the same problem. Started for me this week too. I haven't been able to restore the files. Can't create the exception unless the files exists, and restore fails due to permission or message about file in use. I've had multiple files removed by Bitdefender, so I really need it fixed and and complete reinstall again.…

As of today, I can set my adapter settings back to Dynamic. I guess they fixed it. I also got a response from Support that said when the adapter was set to Dynamic, it then used the Windows network type you see in the control panel. So if Windows is Home or Work, then Bitdefender treats it as Home/Office. If Windows is…

I received a response from support saying the solution "is permanent and does not affect the security of your device".

By the way, Support said you may have to reboot after making the changes. If this doesn't work for you immediately, try rebooting. It definitely works differently than before. I used to have adapters as Dynamic and Stealth Mode on. I guess you could argue you should only be accessing these devices on a home/office network,…

Bitdefender Support got back to me and everything is working again. In the firewall network adapter settings, I had to set ALL adapters to Home/Office. I had a VirtualBox adapter for virtual machines and although I didn't think it would matter since I'm not running those virtual environments, it wouldn't work unless every…

I followed the instructions listed in this post, but it didn't help. https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/8908/
