As of today, 16-Feb-2024, my Windows 7 Pro SP1 machine has not reported the error for several days. I presume a routine update has remedied the problem. Thanks! Best Regards

VirusTotal did not find any issues Best Regards

Bitdefender just updated to 25.0.19.75 Last Updated 4/28/21 12:59pm (local) The issue appears to be completely resolved (at least with Skype). I was able to perform both the Settings/Audio&Video test and a Skype call with the Webcam Protection = ON successfully. Thanks! Best Regards

So perhaps this is specific to the C920? Seems unlikely, but.. An easier to test scenario with Webcam Access = ON (at least on my system) Start Skype Go to Settings/Audio&Video The C920 webcam will come on (blue light bars are illuminated), you will see the preview image Click onto the Calling (or any other) tab The C920…

Sorry for my delay in responding, the day job got in the way. I supplied a number of screen shots to the support staff after opening a ticket. They have confirmed that I received a free of charge upgrade from Internet Security 2017 to Internet Security 2018 and that my system is indeed running Internet Security 2018. All's…

Tmod700, My system is Win 7 Pro SP1 64 bit. BitDefender seems to be working, it's just the way it all came about that is concerning. As all the changed files are in the BitDefender 2017 directory, how do we know that its actually 2018 other than the banner saying its 2018? I don't suppose it really matters what its called…

I was able to eliminate the 'symptoms' of the Action Center warnings by going into the BitDefender 2017/2018? configuration screens and turning the firewall off/on and the anti-virus off/on. It's still an open question what is actually loaded as there are no Bitdefender 2018 directories, just…

Moatads is directly related to utorrent or another torrent software like bittorrent. utorrentis.exe was exploiting moatads and infact from bitdefender I received this alert : utorrentie.exe accessed a web resource js.moatads.... BITDEFENDER has successfully blocked bla bla bla.... My question to a BITDEFENDER MEMBER what…

Sadly. the *moatads* alerts are back this morning after boot-up; same as before the apparent 'fix' from last night. The *moatads* alerts are now gone, hopefully for good:-)

same here. no longer see them. kind of strange. how does a configuration change has been made there has been no reboot of the bitdefender after updates. Sadly. the *moatads* alerts are back this morning after boot-up; same as before the apparent 'fix' from last night.

thank you Mark for your comment. So Giorgia any opinion on that? Roberto, it looks like a configuration change has been made; I am no longer seeing the 'Web Protection' errors on *moatads*. Hopefully your symptoms have cleared up as well?
