  • Many thanks
  • You are not alone lots of customers seem to have been having problems for a while . I had the same problems some time ago,& they seem no nearer to fixing it now. They Just seem to recommend work rounds and disabling various programme functions. Having used Bitdefender for years I finally gave up on it and installed another…
  • Patrick, you are far from alone in these problems, have a read through some of the other threads on this forum. They claim to have released an update to fix the problems, but it didn't solve my Firefox problems.
  • Don't forget to cancel your automatic licence renewal, or they may take that fee after your 161 days are up as well.
  • All this sending log files and pc specifications and temporary fixes etc, for a product we seem to have paid for before it was ready for sale. I only had a couple of months to run on the licence so I uninstalled & am now using another AV programme which solved the problem once and for all.
  • I am in the UK, and am running version 15.0.32.1365, & still Firefox won't fully load some pages or open others..
  • Doesn't look like they are any nearer sorting this fault. Rather than mess about generating log files , or altering things in safe mode easiest way to solve this problem, will be to uninstall BD and replace it with something else, I've waited long enough and my subscription runs out in a couple of months any way.
  • Thanks for the response. The my bitdefender page loads sometimes , a bit at a time slowly, but I find I had to use internet explorer on a number of occasions. why has AV 2012 been released when it is not compatible with Firefox, which is probably the most used browser according to statistics? I'll not be reverting back to…
  • This seems to be an issue which should have been solved now. I had this problem a few months ago and other people were having the same problem. I uninstalled BD 2012 and went back to BD 2011. I am trying BD Av2012 again , just installed it now & I find the same problem persists with Firefox not loading certain pages…
  • the error says firefox cannot open this page because the protocol (error) is not associated with any programme. explorer says unable to display page , search for a programme to open the page.
  • just reverted back to av 2011 and things are back to normal. Not impressed with av 2012.
  • Mine's firefox 5.0. some sites load normally and others won't . Only happened since installing AV 2012. Are you still able to download AV Pro 2011?
  • Mine's the same how do you revert back to the antivirus pro 2011 version
  • Thanks for the info Lionet. I only have Bit defender AV 2011 installed any way.
