The phone had been on for days when this was happening. The app was well and truly started up. Now, tonight, app lock was turned off. I put the phone on a trusted wifi for five…

  • Anyone got any thoughts at all?
  • OK, another update, just in case it helps with finding a solution. This morning, once again app lock had reverted to its OFF state. Fine. Unlike yesterday, it did not come back on at 1300. It stayed off all afternoon. Earlier this evening (around 1900-ish local time) I turned it on, then off again. Turning it off had no…
  • Update... This is interesting. The app lock remained off until 1300 today where it just came back and remains on til this time (now is 2150 here). I am guessing that sometime overnight it will turn off and be off when I get up tomorrow morning. What's going on? Why is this happening? Does anyone have any ideas? It should…

  • Interesting question. I hope Bitdefender staff can answer
  • Update... This morning, it appeared to have turned off overnight - apps were accessible without having to input PIN. But, by late morning (3 or so hours later) it was back on, asking for PIN each time a protected app was accessed. I checked in settings - the button was OFF. This is really odd behaviour indeed. Can anyone…
  • Just to confirm - no ability to add file whilst on WIN 10 machine ;)
  • I have now learned that you have to be here a little longer to attach files to posts. As soon as I reach this level (or the rules are adjusted) I will post the error message.
  • Browser was FF, btw - only add on was UB Origin which was turned off. Am on Chromium now - same thing. Like I said will try WIN10 machine on weekend - see if anything changes. (Any other forum users here apart from me experiencing this?)

  • Post is there but cannot see image file. Its not an anti-linux feature is it lol ? Am on Debian at this time, but will try WIN 10 machine on weekend to see if anything changes. Unless Mike has any other thoughts / suggestions?
  • Here is a JPG, just for the hell of it. Below me after dragging it to post window i have little box with file name saying its size and "inserted"
  • Hi Mike, I have no option to attach a file as such. It seems the only way is to drag it to the post window. It then appears to be attached. In THIS post, I now attempt to attach that error image the same way. Note it is a PNG - the board doesnt reject png images does it?
  • I'll try again. Note I am dragging the file into the post window. I cant see any other way to attach it and it appears as an attached file: OK, just to confirm, pic dragged to
  • And, its still not there :(
  • I'll try again. Note I am dragging the file into the post window. I cant see any other way to attach it and it appears as an attached file: OK, just to confirm, pic dragged to post window and little box below states image etc .png Inserted
  • > @Mike_BD said: > I can't see it tho.. I posted it - it appeared as a linked image file at the bottom of the post box. Dunno what happened.
  • Tracking worked fine for me on day one of registering the Mobile Security product (a few days ago). Since that time, its never worked properly. In all instances no new map location was displayed. Most of the time an hour or two would pass without the phone being located, but on the odd occasion I would get a notification…
  • Yeah. Admins here need to clear this stuff up.
  • This was the error. I wasnt posting a link:
  • Yep, that's worked Mike. Your attachments worked. I'll dig out that screenshot of the error later and repost it
  • Aha, this post must have looked pretty odd. I thought I had attached a jpg of the error message but it is not here. Can attachments be added to posts?
  • What's the spec on the VPN? Open VPN? Anything else? Am curious too

  • Is it possible to set up scheduled scans for Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android? I can't see an option for it. Not 100% necessary, but might be a nice feature ;)
  • I had a look through BD Central and could not see my activation code listed anywhere. The product is licensed and active though - odd that the code isnt recorded somewhere. Could the BD people themselves provide it to you? Or the
