Bitdefender Premium VPN on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Hello i'm using bitdefender total security and using premium VPN on all my phones but i'm using Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and was wondering can i install premium vpn on WINE in linux or can i find premium vpn software for linux ubuntu, thank you :)

  • Same here. I am using BitDefender Armor and VPN on my windows computers but need a solution for my Linux Mint systems. Surely there must be a way to install this VPN on Linux Mint. Obviously, please answer the question from baleaaelab first. Thank you.

  • I have Total Security and I too need Linux software versions, why is BitDefender not cross-platform?

  • Ditto on Total Security and VPN.

  • Interesting question. I hope Bitdefender staff can answer
  • Very disappointing to see that there's still no answer to the above questions.... not a single response from DB. Only more people having the same question. I'm in the same situation of also having ARMOR and the Premium VPN service on multiple windows laptops and android phones... but in no way able to install the BD VPN service on my Linux based devices... :( Cannot find any answers, also not to for example use openVPN with the DB VPN ip and port ... Seems that the only solution is to switch to other vendor solutions.

  • Hello everyone,

To this point, Bitdefender VPN (albeit the one in Bitdefender Total Security or the Premium subscription) is not being offered for Linux (native). Only Win, Mac, iOS and Android. Full details are here:

I cannot confirm the compatibility thru WINE, for some might work, but officially, that solution is not endorsed.
