Same here. I am using BitDefender Armor and VPN on my windows computers but need a solution for my Linux Mint systems. Surely there must be a way to install this VPN on Linux Mint. Obviously, please answer the question from baleaaelab first. Thank you.

I have Total Security and I too need Linux software versions, why is BitDefender not cross-platform?

Ditto on Total Security and VPN.

Interesting question. I hope Bitdefender staff can answer0

Very disappointing to see that there's still no answer to the above questions.... not a single response from DB. Only more people having the same question. I'm in the same situation of also having ARMOR and the Premium VPN service on multiple windows laptops and android phones... but in no way able to install the BD VPN service on my Linux based devices... :( Cannot find any answers, also not to for example use openVPN with the DB VPN ip and port ... Seems that the only solution is to switch to other vendor solutions.

Hello everyone,
To this point, Bitdefender VPN (albeit the one in Bitdefender Total Security or the Premium subscription) is not being offered for Linux (native). Only Win, Mac, iOS and Android. Full details are here: https://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/vpn.html
I cannot confirm the compatibility thru WINE, for some might work, but officially, that solution is not endorsed.
cheers,
Mike

Need Bitdefender VPN for Linux e.g. Ubuntu. Please release it.

Bitdefender used to have linux version for home users in the past which only featured antimalware protection with no vpn service and then they discontinued it. As of now, there are no plans to release the linux version of bitdefender for home users, be it the antimalware protection or the vpn.
Bitdefender for linux is only available for the business users which constitutes only antimalware protection and not the vpn.

Hi,
Just got word that the developers are evaluating the possibility of adding VPN support for Linux, but we do not have a clear deadline at the moment.
Cheers

Great!
Please consider releasing with a Command Line Interface too.

Currently bitdefender for linux is only available for business users and not home users. Also, there is no plan of releasing linux version for home user any soon.

I have just purchased subscription. How can I change from home to business account?

As far as Bitdefender VPN, it is still only available for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
How much would you be willing to pay to protect a Linux device if that is your concern? Unless you truly are a business and in need that level of protection, can be found here:
If you would like to talk to support, they can be found towards the bottom of the webpage, Contact Bitdefender Support and click through a few prompts to get to Chat, email or phone support (which is not toll free).
Kind regards,
Scott
