Hi Niels Strange - I did what you suggested and got a message saying "DllUnregisterServer in D:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2008\bdo.dll failed. Return code was 0x8002801c" but the toolbar has gone from Outlook. Thanks again. Alan
