I do sympathise. I think there will be a couple of clearance programs you will need to run to get rid of the tail ends of Avast. Certainly that's been the case with AVG, which is now part of Avast. You'll need to find them on the Avast site, and my guess is that they'll be called "Clear" and "Remover", if AVG is anything…
