  • What version of BD are you using, AV+, Internet Security or Total Security? If you have Total Security, you can blacklist it using Parental Controls. Can you just change your Homepage in FF? Also, run a BD update, and do a System Scan for safe measures.

Do those link uninstall tools leave remnants as a aide in…
  • Hello Do you mean when you click on My Offers in Central? Are you getting pop up adds on your Central home page? It may be a little preemptive of BD to suggest a offer so quickly, but it sure beats when we used to get the pop ups on our PCs above our system trays before they implemented the ability to turn that off in our…

That thread has conveniently been deleted and so have my posts. The Widget bug has happened on every system I've had TS 2018 installed on two different…
  • Thanks for this update and information, Sergiu. It's good to hear that it's happening on your test machines as well, to be able to help track down what's causing this issue. There is hope
  • Marc, I've been away from here for about 2 1/2 - 3 years, so you may be up on things more than I am, but do you think at this time a fresh install of BD may be something to try? You know the drill, use the Uninstall Tool, reboot, check and find the leftover files that may be left, including in Programs and Features (like…
  • How they went about the silent fix may be one thing, and that support here on the forum may not be to "chatty" about informing us what was going on, or what they did. But what did impress me was that this issue was reported on Feb 28th, and fixed on March 6th. Also, it looks like the Full Scan issue for some was also fixed…
  • I think 19.242 occurred on Feb 27th. I agree, Bleb, it would be nice to see that changelog. I think this update/reboot was more of a patch/update that required the reboot to fix these 2 issues? /index.php?/topic/78494-full-system-scan-problem/&tab=comments#comment-280639"…
  • Was probably part of the update that required the reboot today. Hoping it also took care of the /index.php?/topic/78480-important-windows-10-event-view/" rel="">Disc 51 warning, just needing others confirmation on that one, too.
  • Fixed? Check on your end if you still get the Disc 51 warning. As of this morning, I no longer get that error on 2 PCs running Windows 7 professional. Last 51 events were yesterday. So it was either an update that happened last night, or 1 this morning that did include a reboot. I did 2 restarts without any disc warnings.
  • You're welcome, but sorry that I'm not much help with this one. Just in case those who use Wallet routinely may have some ideas, what browser and build are you using? Did you look through the User Guide pdfs, they do have quite a bit of information about Wallet that may be helpful.…
  • Hi Carlynn, and welcome to the forum To be honest, I use LastPass exclusively, so other may have to fill in any blanks I'm missing. It sounds like you filled in the website and passwords in the main BD Wallet module and have the Wallet icon displaying in your browser, correct? Some web pages will automatically fill in once…
  • Here is what the full system scan covers. So you could also try just creating a scan only apps/rootkit and a scan all files/rootkit custom scan and maybe confirm if that is the main cause?
  • 1 hour ago, Sergiu C. said: Hello, As I mentioned previously, the issue has been forwarded to our development team for investigation. • The only reason I would "know" it is BD, is that I did a clean install this morning on this PC, and this is the only time I see this error, right after the install. I had BD installed on this PC about 3 days ago, and uninstalled it, so it was before this last build/update?, as I don't see this error past today in the log.…
  • lol...he is pretty entertaining, though, grab the popcorn and watch the show Did like the video, hard to go wrong with Dire Straits
  • 13 hours ago, MarcHoppe said: Ok great. I'll time mine again tomorrow as well. With the program update of today perhaps updates will be quicker from now on but I'm not holding much faith. Before the longer updates started over a month ago updates took maybe three or four minutes although I never had a reason to time them.…
  • Agree and Like
  • I agree, hoping that is one of the issues that is addressed. Yet, I wonder how much of it is a 70/30 thing, 70% a server issue, and 30% an BD software issue/fix? Maybe 60/40 as far as other issues on some individuals pcs?
  • Yep, Marc, same update location here. But..let me check and see what the initial update is when I start my pc. I usually turn them on and do other things, so I haven't kept track of the initial update. I will get back with you tomorrow with what I time it to be.
  • Thanks, Sergiu, as you can add me to the list of those experiencing slow virus updates, about 5 minutes for running a manual update an hour after an auto-update. (I have mine set to update ever 2 hours) Running the latest build, 22.0.18.224 with 30Mbps service connected via ethernet.

  • I know the above shows only 1 example of BDIS, but I only have it installed on the 1 PC. All of the above were clean installs, deleting any previous AV fragment leftovers found in the usual places.
