Your screenshot shows that you have a notification available to view. What is is saying?

You might try adding the URL to the exception list and see if that helps (Protection > Online Threat Prevention > Exceptions). Did you check the Notifications section to see if Bitdefender blocked the connection?

What is the URL of the game you're trying to connect to?

I am new to Bitdefender but I believe you can pause or permanently disable protection by going to Protection > Antivirus > Settings and click on the blue slider button. A drop-down box will appear and you can make a choice about disabling protection.
