Well I started with Bitdefender 08 and had no problems with it after I jumped to Bitdefender 09 which was very buggy the BD team took months to solve that scan activity bar issue and also BD not responding for no reason. So I dumped Bitdefender and switched to other product and even naming it will just cause flame war…

Not sure if you can disable it for certain websites. You can however go to Expert mode -> Antivirus -> Custom level -> Disable scanning HTTP traffic. It is disabled by default.

BDIS 2010 has a web guard like feature similar to Avira so is there any way to turn it off? Just want to turn off while viewing videos on you tube. EDIT: I am not having any problems with BD working good atleast for me but just only wanted to configure because I tried to disable it but could not find it

Might be that BD is still not stable on windows 7 because mine is working without any problems or glitches.

also you can upload those files to virustotal or jotti for more verifications

As fungus said u should take backup of ur important data timely as far as BD is concerned it dosent have this problems go for a trial if u like then buy it

BitDefender shows the path where the trojan is . u just qurantine or manually delete

try to restart ur comp and then try to update see if prob persist

Goto start--->Accessories--->system tools--->disk clean up select ur drive a box will appear goto More options--->click on system restore clean up button it works try it out good luck ;)

I think that u must first uninstall zonealarm ur firewall must be in conflict with firewall of BDTS i know that ur firewall is disabled but still try this coz i too had same prob when i had BDTS 2008 & Eset Smart security at the same time (i had done some weird things) :lol: Good Luck

Why fight for AV its anyone's choice and why to complain abt particular AV product if u don't like it just remove it and by the way I am quite happy with BDTS 2009 very good product just has some cons but i hav no complain abt it as long as i m protected
