Better late than never. That was embarrassing for Bitdefender. They have lost thousands of potential customers because of this. Ignoring customers for over 3 years might as well be never. I will not be returning or recommending Bitdefender products again regardless of the fix.

Reason i no longer use or recommended to clients the use of Bitdefender products. A 3 year old problem and we are told patience is the solution.

Nesivos, I didn't have to search out obscure streaming video sites; just a quick visit to YouTube did the trick. My shiny new suite doesn't have this problem and I get a performance boost to boot, all wrapped up in under a megabyte. Happy to let my bitdefender subscriptions expire unused to be rid of this garbage.

So bitdefender have stopped the user fix from running and low and behold the issue has returned. Hello BITDEFENDER anyone Home? Never mind found my solution here http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall/

Maybe the issue is not in W8 Security, i use total 2013 and until the user fix i could just sit and watch in tcpview the downloads continue!

And of it goes again 100% disk usage, no scan in progress visible except in task manager. Also i don't want my machine scanned every time i go to make a coffee let me decide when!!!!

OMG I had no idea how long this has been going on without a fix, and to think I just renewed my subscription shame support is not as efficient as billing. Who do I address my excess bandwidth invoices too?
