  • Hi.I have an idea but i am not sure.At win xp when you right click the start button and go to properties there is an option that says"hide inactive icons"and a button on the right that says customize. When you click it there is a list of icons and you can select if you want to hide them or not but i don't know if there is…
  • Hi again. If you found as you say lots of entries(without having bitdefender installed) i think that you should delete them but if someone else has a better idea please post it because i want to go to v2009 but i can't.There are a lot of bugs.
  • Try searching the registry and delete entries with the name bitdefender 2008 and anything else with the bitdefender name but take a backup of your registry before.
  • If you were using other antivirus programs, have you uninstalled them completely?Have you uninstalled bitdefender with the uninstaller?Try it if you didn't.
  • You don't need to scan them because they are from iolo software. If you want extract them and scan them.If you don't want to see them every time add them to the exceptions list.I did the same but with bitdefender 2008.
  • It is only my personal opinion. For me it is useless but if other people like it OK

  • If I have IS 2008, can I upgrade to IS 2009 free of charge or do I actually have to pay for it if my subscirption is still active. I went to the upgrade tab but it would only let me upgrade to TS 2009. I did the same question yesterday. You can upgrade for free if your sub is active. I got my reply from Cris super moderator.
  • Oh how I can be a super moderator???
  • Yes, it's free, for the remaining license period. Use the Uninstall Tools to remove your current installation, download the new version, install it and register and activate it with the same license and the same BitDefender MyAccount that you already have. Cris. Thank you Cris .(Are you Greek if you want don't answer)

The Status says that I haven't run a Quick System Scan for 21 days and when I click on the FIX button, the scan starts. Then approximately 1 minute later, the laptop shuts…
