  • After my initial enthusiasm over the fix, I'm also sorry to report that I have been getting these bdmcon errors again. It seemed the problem was fixed and I hadn't received errors for a few days, but now BD crashes again on a daily basis just like it did before the fix was released. :-((((
  • Ja, habe Norton nie auf dem neuen PC installiert, daran kann's also nicht liegen.
  • I don't think it matters which version of emule you're running, I am using an old version 0.44c and BD crashes while emule is running in the background (I think it happens everytime a download comes in). I'm very hesitant to install an unofficial NVIDIA graphic card driver. I shouldn't have to resort to that. I'd rather…

  • I now figured out, that these error messages and crashes have to be related to emule. I tested it, without emule and no crashes/errors occured for 3 days, once I turned emule, it crashes every time a download comes in.

  • I have the exact same problem, on top of receiving bdmcon: "a required resource" error messages and Bitdefender crashing constantly. Unfortuantely I can not offer a solution but I wanted to reply anyway in order to confirm that you are not the only one with this problem and it may be a common issue. Upon contacting BD…
  • Thanks for your quick response! I have just recently switched to a brand new computer and with that switched from Norton Internet Security to Bitdefender. My problem existed from the start, right after I installed BD, I can not pin point to any software that I recently installed that caused this, as I basically installed…

  • Attached are screenshots (in Word-Document) of the Bitdefender bdmcon error messages (I thought it was "bdmon" but maybe it was an oversight previously) and the strange Bitdefender window behavior. I'm convinced bdmcon is part of Bitdefender, the name gives it away plus I get this kind of error only when BD is running. I…

  • Thank you for your sugestions and quick response. I'm running Windows XP SP2. I have performed all the steps as you advised, i.e. uninstalled BD (using the uninstall tool), uninstalled all graphic card drivers (NVIDIA GEForce 7300), downloaded the current NVIDIA graphic driver and installed that and finally re-installed…
  • I'm running BD on an administrator account, and I have already uninstalled/re-installed it once via control panel=>software=>ad/remove, however I have not used the uninstall tool. I will try that. I will also try updating the graphic card drivers and then report back. So you think it is a graphic card issue?
