  • Try installing Wireshark(opensource). It would show you the real time traffic and would also show you which port(application) they are using. I use this a lot when something is hogging my BW.
  • " if i start in gamemode it works.. but in standart mode not.." It is also possible each mode is using different ports. You can call their support team, ask which port their using and add it in the trust list.
  • Looks like a firewall issue to me. Try disable BD firewall, and see if you have internet connection.. If yes, then you need to contact support on your USB stick and ask them what port they are using for their service and add it in BD firewall too. Also check BD firewall section It should show you which port they detected…
  • Looks like the port is being blocked by BD firewall. Try to add this port in the trust list. By default the server listens on TCP port 3389. Its like creating a hole in your BD firewall only for this type of connection(RDP).
  • Or if you want an easy route for this. You can possibly call your ISP and have them walk you through in testing a static DNS. 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Im not just sure if they are able to help you with that but its worth the try.
  • This might help you. Ask WoW what port they use for updates and open it in BD. Or you can just temporarily disable the BD firewall when you want to update WOW.
  • Hi Jon. There could be a lot of reasons why your internet is intermittent. I also dont understand why you came up with a possible DNS issue. To isolate DNS outside the equation, try using 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 as DNS and check if you are still have intermittent issues. i wont make my post long but you might wanna check that…
  • Try running WOW with BD disabled and disconnecting from the internet(to be sure). See if it makes a difference. Check also the Event viewer for Extra logs. Its quite helpful actually. Give you why ur PC crashed for example.
  • I think it would be messy to look at it tho in system tray. A sim might help to check it out.
  • Port forwarding. Usually this is done on a router. If you are on a residential DSL, chances are minimal on achieving this. The router gives you a random port. What you are trying to is having a static one. Better check your modem to see if its possible. If its a T1, port forwarding is 100% with from your router.
  • I dont think this is BD related. Check your computer logs at EventViewer. Mostly BSODs are caused by faulty RAMs.
  • Ive been looking around their homepage too. I cant find any link that lets me download this free version ^^
  • Hi Jakob. Rule of thumb is one license key per one product. Hope that helps.
